Reproducibility and claim boundaries
What was actually searched, read, sampled, and executed.
This ledger separates full sequential reading from search, structural capture, visual sampling, inference, and local experiment. It records the failed attempts too.
Authenticated X corpus
One old 40-post sample became a 1,126-status union.
The previous tracked archive contained 40 main-timeline posts. This audit used the logged-in Posts, Replies, and Media surfaces; official X syndication; year-window live searches; the old tracked sample; DOM IDs; and conversation replies. Collection stopped only after bounded no-new-evidence thresholds. That is broad recoverable coverage, not a claim that deleted, private, or counter-only activity can be reconstructed.

Non-X source universe
Creator-controlled links first; third-party material labeled separately.
| Surface | Method and coverage | Use in this audit | Primary link |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official Carrd | Page captured and link graph checked. | Identity root connecting X, ArtStation, itch, Steam, and commissions. | Open |
| Sketchfab | All 62 current model rows retrieved with stable sorted pagination; every detail endpoint succeeded. | Descriptions, dates, model counts, direct workflow lessons, visual chronology. | Open |
| itch / SquareDev | 49 SquareDev slugs discovered/tested: 44 live descriptions read fully and five current 404 descriptions recovered and read fully through Wayback. One collaborator-hosted project and ten devlogs were also read fully. First-page creator comment blocks were scanned, not pagination-complete. | Project chronology, identity connection, production lessons, runtime/source comparison. Down you (po)go! was executed in Chrome. | Open |
| Tumblr | Public timeline API exhausted: 112 unique direct bodies from 2016-07-04 to 2020-05-20, all read fully (106 originals + 6 reblogs). Live RSS 20/20 read fully; Wayback RSS sampled. | Toon color ramps, texture work, Blender shape-key planning, historical dev context. | RSS |
| ArtStation | 86 projects indexed and scanned; 85 project descriptions read fully. “short black hair girl 3D” was the single documented fetch failure. | Portfolio chronology, asset notes, and 2D-to-3D translation examples. | Open |
| GitHub | Two public repositories inventoried: Pogo-Drill and drill-pogo (effectively empty aside from .gitattributes in the audited state). Pogo-Drill: all six commits plus the 572-blob current tree inventoried; targeted manifests, shader graphs, materials, scenes, and Blender data inspected rather than every source line. | Direct technical evidence for palette UVs, unlit materials, shader graphs, post, and animation. | Open |
| Steam | Store read fully. News API returned five items: four creator announcements read fully; one press item excluded from creator evidence. Discussions sampled. | Released-game chronology and official project identity. | Open |
| YouTube | Five third-party gameplay videos: metadata captured; every available 160×90 storyboard sheet visually sampled, not full video playback. | Uniform chronology samples for 2019 prototype through 2023 release. Not creator testimony. | Earliest sample |
| Press and search engines | Broad handle/project searches across news, Reddit, dev pages, game databases, and archives. | Chronology and discovery only unless identity and claim provenance converge. | 2019 report |
| Wayback | Snapshot availability checked for linked properties. | Earliest surviving public captures and link-history corroboration; not assumed complete. | Open |
High-value creator claims
The claims that materially change our renderer model.
Rows below are concise paraphrases. The linked post is the authoritative wording and media. Scope is explicit so one challenge, asset, or year does not silently become a creator-wide law.
| ID | Creator evidence | Scope | Consequence |
|---|---|---|---|
| 117327… | Specific Blender Render Toon intensity, size, smoothness, specular, and emission values. | 2019 project | Historical work explicitly used renderer/material shading. |
| 134933… | Separate Blender view layer and compositor used for eyebrows in front of hair. | asset-specific | Compositing is not new or limited to pixelization. |
| 176936… | Sculpt/high-to-low bake practice followed by comic-book and inkblot shader experiments. | 2024 experiment | Technique plurality is creator-stated. |
| 193390…0527 | Multiple references collected in PureRef and mixed rather than copied from one design. | PSXApril | Reference synthesis precedes technical style. |
| 193390…2781 | Almost every challenge model used one 128×128 texture; low resolution aided expression. | PSXApril | Strong baseline, explicitly not universal. |
| 193390…3068 | Planned Ucupaint complexity, but one layer and Blender's default brush were often sufficient. | PSXApril | The add-on accelerates work; it is not the style. |
| 193390…4498 | Vertex colors fake shading, ambient occlusion, and nondestructive color variation. | PSXApril + recurring | “All light in albedo” is too absolute. |
| 193390…7463 | Geometry is spent for shape and silhouette, with exceptions for UV and texture needs. | PSXApril | No fixed polygon count explains the look. |
| 205347…9307 | Texture is painted mainly in Blender's image editor; 3D paint is used chiefly for seam cleanup. | recurring workflow | UV/image iteration is central. |
| 205566…7133 | Usually one image/layer, but complex wood, metal, cloth, and scratches were split into Ucupaint layers. | asset exception | Complexity should earn separation. |
| 205569…9533 | An intricate mushroom house raised texture resolution to 256×256. | asset exception | 128×128 is not a universal mandate. |
| 205606…9935 | Emission and Transparent BSDF are mixed using texture alpha. | asset-specific | Shader code owns channel assembly and transparency. |
| 205642…0148 | A reusable compositor group creates hard pixelization and removes antialiasing. | reused across models | Post materially contributes to the final look. |
| 205713…7806 | Fire and glowing-potion reflections were both painted onto the cauldron. | asset-specific | One-accent language is our composition rule, not a universal fact. |
| 205883…6470 | Grease Pencil line art was used for Lamp Girl. | asset-specific | Some work genuinely includes outlines; the hourglass still does not demonstrate them. |
| 205929…6262 | Hourglass sand combines blendshape deformation and texture scrolling. | hourglass | The broad motion mechanism is resolved; exact keys/nodes remain unknown. |
| 206188…6639 | The hourglass was the one completed timelapse; creator resists describing a fixed general method. | creator-wide warning | Use durable tendencies as options, never as a rigid creator-authored recipe. |

Failure and recovery log
Collection errors changed the method.
- The first long Replies crawl used a 10-second shell timeout and was terminated after checkpointing. It was rerun with an appropriate timeout and reached the no-new-evidence threshold.
- The normalized union regenerated while the sequential claim audit was running. The analyst caught the checksum change, compared the 2025 sources, regenerated annotations, and reread the complete current 144-record 2025 segment before finalizing.
- The first 2025 X search recorded one rate-limit response after six successful packets. A later clean retry returned eight packets, 121 creator results, and zero response errors; deduplication did not change the 1,126-status union.
- The first native-retweet search was rate-limited. A clean retry received a valid response and no records; existing retweets remain sourced from authenticated profile packets.
- The first Sketchfab collector used a nonexistent user-ID route and received HTTP 404. Official API documentation showed that public model filtering uses the username.
- Unsorted Sketchfab pagination produced 62 rows but only 53 unique IDs. Sorting by descending publication date stabilized cursor pagination: 62 rows, 62 unique models, and 62 successful detail calls.
- Direct Tumblr post requests returned HTTP 403. Public timeline API responses supplied 112 direct bodies; the live RSS supplied a separately verified 20/20 window.
- The standalone
yt-dlpexecutable was not on PATH. The installedpython -m yt_dlpmodule succeeded for metadata, thumbnails, and storyboard downloads. - Matching-name accounts without a creator-controlled link were excluded. No official YouTube, Vimeo, Reddit, Instagram, Bluesky, Cara, or Mastodon account was confirmed during this pass.
Remaining unknowns
Research narrowed the uncertainty; it did not erase it.
- The eight-count difference against X's profile headline cannot be treated as eight known missing authored posts. X may count unavailable, deleted, or differently classified activity.
- The hourglass's exact Blender file, full material graph, compositor parameters, scene lights, color management, blendshape targets, scroll nodes, and keyframes remain unavailable.
- No retrieved creator statement establishes a universal position on PBR, MeshBasic, Lambert, real-time lights, fog, LUTs, terrain, grass, sky, or day/night architecture.
- The public Pogo repository has no license grant. It is evidence we may inspect, not a source we may copy into Forged by Sin.
- Five third-party videos were sampled through every available uniform storyboard sheet. They were not watched frame-by-frame and are not used as creator-process authority.
- Deleted/private posts, inaccessible archive snapshots, private commissions, and offline files are not recoverable from this public audit.
- No finding authorizes renderer migration or canonical memory mutation. Those decisions remain with the Creative Director.
